Questions people actually ask
Before you begin
What is the 369 method, and does Shyne support it?
+
The 369 method is a manifestation practice popularised from Nikola Tesla's fascination with the numbers three, six and nine: you write or speak your intention three times in the morning, six times midday, and nine times at night. Shyne supports it in both forms. In spoken mode you hold to speak and the app listens for your intention, unlocking stages 3, 6 and 9 in sequence; in written mode you fill the lines by hand. Every spoken repetition is recorded to your iPhone so you can listen back to your own voice — and it is never uploaded.
Is Shyne a manifestation journal, an affirmations app, or a gratitude app?
+
All three, on purpose. A manifestation practice that is only affirmations becomes noise, and one that is only journalling becomes a diary. Shyne holds one intention in focus (transmit), then builds belief around it through gratitude, spoken affirmations, sound and a log of the signs already arriving (receive).
Does my journal stay private?
+
Yes. Your gratitude journal, your signs, your custom affirmations and your 369 recordings live on your device and are never uploaded. Privacy is treated as a feature of the practice, not a policy footnote — you write differently when you know no one else can read it.
Does Shyne use streaks?
+
No. Shyne has no streaks, no guilt notifications and no fake scarcity. Your practice history shows a missed day as an empty square and nothing else. A quiet day is just a quiet day.
How much does Shyne cost?
+
Shyne is $24.99 per quarter — about $1.92 a week — or $5.99 weekly, after a 3-day free trial. One subscription unlocks everything: intentions and the candle ritual, the 369 practice, the gratitude rock journal, the signs log, your practice history, the Abundance Cheque, the full Attune sound library with layering and the breath pacer, full-screen affirmations and home-screen widgets.
What are solfeggio frequencies, and what is in the sound room?
+
Solfeggio frequencies are a set of tones — 174 Hz through 963 Hz — long used in sound practice for rest and focus. Attune holds 32 sounds in total: the solfeggio tones alongside singing bowls, warm rain, ocean swell, birdsong and deep space, every one a real licensed recording. You can layer two, breathe to a pace over them, and set a sleep timer.
Which devices does Shyne run on?
+
Shyne is an iPhone and iPad app, built entirely in SwiftUI, with home-screen widgets and an iOS 18 Control Center button that starts today's sound without opening the app. There is no Android version today.
Do I need an account?
+
You set up a profile during onboarding so your practice can follow you, but the writing you do stays on your device. You can delete your account and everything attached to it from Settings at any time.
